Udera - Glitch (2026)
Released on 26 June 2026, Glitch is about lacking confidence in the future and fearing you won’t find your place in a world on the brink of collapse. It also encourages owning your differences and daring to break out of the mould our model of society tends to lock us into over the years. At six minutes, it is the longest track on the EP, which it closes.
Glitch is taken from Silhouettes, Udera’s first EP, released on 4 September 2026 on streaming platforms and CD. Its five tracks (Toxique, Fake U, Silhouettes, Les égarés and Glitch) are largely inspired by the post-Covid world: isolation, loneliness, toxic relationships, loss of bearings and a world on the brink of collapse. Sometimes punk, sometimes pop, the EP at times recalls industrial rock or ’90s alternative rock. Two singles, Les égarés and Glitch, came out in May and June, each with its own video.
The collective recorded and produced Silhouettes themselves. Andrew Rougeaudt wrote the lyrics and plays synths. Vincent Klein handles bass, guitar, piano and synths. Théo Berger sings and shares programming duties, and Mathieu Tousch plays drums. Théo Berger also mixed and mastered the EP, and the artwork is by François Camoes.
About the band
Udera is a French rock collective founded on 21 April 2023 by Andrew Rougeaudt (lyricist, composer, keyboards) and Vincent Klein (composer, multi-instrumentalist). Both played in Worst DNA, where the idea of a side project took shape in summer 2022 with Mathieu Tousch. The collective approach at the heart of the project lets the two founders work freely with other artists, on songwriting as well as visuals, without the constraints of a fixed line-up. Singer Théo Berger joined them in December 2023, and Mathieu Tousch came back on drums, in the studio and on stage. The collective cites influences as eclectic as The Cure, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Joe Satriani, King Crimson and Indochine.
