Mina Warren - Lost in My Pyramid (2026)

With Lost in My Pyramid, Mina Warren wanted to step out of her comfort zone a little. The pop-punk foundation is still there, but the choruses lean far more openly towards alternative rock. Above all, she was keen to include a real breakdown and a long scream, before closing the song with a full-voice climb, one of her vocal specialities: notes she can hold for around twenty seconds.

Another feature of the track is a section where darbuka meets deep house-like textures, before the guitars gradually move in and tip the song into something much heavier. Mina likes taking that kind of risk, even if it means mixing styles you wouldn’t necessarily expect together. That same urge runs through the album she is slowly putting together, where each song explores a different world: Middle Eastern, American, Japanese with its manga references, or French.

A keen cosplayer, Mina uses her costumes in her videos, and they shape the visual mood, the colours and the colour grading. The video for Lost in My Pyramid, directed by Benjamin Bachelard (Disclosure Productions), was shot near the pyramid of Tourves, in the Var, then enhanced in post-production with 3D visual effects by Alex Chapas. Released on 4 September 2026, the track was recorded and mixed by Ludwig Laperche at Studio Ludirox and mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios.

About the artist

Based on the French Riviera, Mina Warren has been developing a solo pop-punk and alternative rock project since 2022, in the vein of Paramore and Avril Lavigne, a female solo rock format that is still fairly rare in France. After Captain of My Heart, she asserted her world with No Reason in 2023, then Newborn of War in 2024, whose video has passed one million views on YouTube, and Chrysalis Night in 2025.

Mina also takes her songs to the stage, including at festivals, and has been featured by France TV with a report and a live performance on the show Music Box. She is already preparing what comes next with Dilemme!, her first song written entirely in French, which will tell her whether to steer the project further towards French or keep alternating with English.
