Some songs sound like a door being slammed. No more! is one of them. With this new single, INITIUM sings about breaking up, seeing clearly and, above all, the will to get rid of a toxic relationship once and for all by taking back control.

Behind the mic, Lou tells her own story with a manipulative, narcissistic ex who lied to those around him as much as to himself and kept playing a part. Far from wallowing, the song shows that you can stand up to such people and break free from their hold by regaining confidence and daring to say stop. Driven by energetic rock, this powerful message speaks to anyone who has been through something similar, and aims to offer hope and motivation to those still trapped.

Released on 8 September 2026, No more! comes with the band’s very first music video, featuring modern transitions and a polished look rarely seen in this genre. The track kicks off a run of three singles announced from September 2026, ahead of a second album planned for 2027.

About the band

Formed in 2023 in Lorraine, INITIUM is first and foremost a family affair: bassist Rico and drummer Noé are father and son; singer Lou is also Noé’s partner; and guitarist Ludo is a longtime friend and colleague of Rico’s. Three generations brought together by influences ranging from rock and metal to rap, punk, funk, soul and folk, for an alternative rock sound often compared to The Cranberries.

Written in English and French by Rico and Lou, each with their own style, their songs are honest, moving stories drawn from real life. The band released a self-titled debut album in 2024, available on streaming platforms and on vinyl, and has since played show after show across Lorraine, eastern France and Belgium, while building a community of over 14,000 followers on TikTok.
