Heava - Plastic (2025)
Plastic encourages us to reflect on the greatest environmental challenge of our time: plastic pollution. Through the eyes of an inhabitant of a Southern country overwhelmed by waste, the song alerts us to the urgency of finding solutions. It invites us to stop turning a blind eye to this global crisis.
The chorus ironically blends a joyful melody with tragic lyrics:
I can't breathe, anymore,
I can't live, anymore,
But you close your eyes,
Come on ! close your eyes !
I can't see, anymore,
I can't cry, anymore,
But you close your eyes !
Come on ! close your eyes !
"We see this song as a wake-up call. Without falling into caricatured political discourse, raising awareness about environmental degradation is just common sense. Music can serve a cause when it comes to the common good."
