DAZZLE - Go Away (2026)
How many “fucks” can you cram into a single song? That was the half-serious challenge DAZZLE set itself when writing Go Away. The result goes well beyond a schoolboy prank: a nihilistic howl of anger, full of mockery and humour, that trades cheap provocation for a genuine rant, driven by English-language rock steeped in the sound of the 90s.
The target? Preachers of every stripe, those who never tire of telling us how to live, what to believe, and why they alone have found the “right” path… by hearing the right voice. “You claim to hear God talking to you, at every sunrise and sunset, but everyday you sleep until noon,” Chris Mannarelli sneers, before unleashing an unfiltered chorus that ends, fittingly, with a well-aimed “and go away”.
“There is nothing more dangerous than people who are convinced they are right and doing good, a very flexible notion in whose name so many atrocities have been committed,” the band explains. “As for us, we’re not too sure, we just do our best… Life only has the meaning you give it, so ‘Fuck, and Go away!’” Released on 5 September 2026 alongside a music video, the track is part of the run of self-produced singles DAZZLE is rolling out ahead of an album due by next summer.
About the band
An English-language rock band from the Rhône-Alpes region of France, DAZZLE crafts music that is both sophisticated and energetic, mixing original songs with covers given a 90s rock treatment, under the influence of Soundgarden, The Black Crowes and King’s X. Over some fifteen years, the band has released two EPs on CD and several music videos, appeared on a few compilations and played dozens of shows on local stages and festivals.
Started by guitarist and singer Chris Mannarelli, who has worked with artists such as Riké (Sinsemilia), the Very Big Jah Brass Band and Little Bob, the project has been strengthened by musicians from bands like Demagogue and Electric Bag. Alongside him, Ben Verdillon (guitar, backing vocals), Pat Argentier (bass) and Luc Baietto (drums, backing vocals) now carry this new line-up in the studio and on stage, with no aesthetic or commercial compromise: just the urge to play what they truly love.
