CRUSVDERS - Heaven’s Flow (2026)
It all started in a garage on a cold day in March 2025. Heaven’s Flow was born at Ben’s place, a song CRUSVDERS wanted to be airier and darker than the rest of its repertoire. Its theme: grief, told through autobiographical lyrics.
The track walks a fine line. The melancholic verses follow someone trying to put words to loss; the more dynamic chorus marks the break and opens the way to acceptance. To dress this duality, the band added chorus to the guitars, more reverb and delay on the vocals, and tuned down to drop C# instead of the usual drop D. The song closes on a real sonic squall, where the airy guitars leave room for jerky, syncopated drums.
The result? Rock that is both sentimental and poppy, yet keeps the tension and darkness of the rest of the EP. Recorded at Antistatic studio in Castanet-Tolosan with Julien “Fryzzer” Soula (ex-Sidilarsen), Back to the Unknown brings together three tracks, Wait, Heaven’s Flow and Derealization, steeped in 90s rock, where punk rage meets the emotion of alternative rock.
About the band
Formed in late 2024 in Perpignan, CRUSVDERS grew out of a meeting between Kevin, Benjamin and Abo through Facebook groups devoted to the local scene, sharing one goal: to get back into music and build a solid project, picking up where each had left off a few years earlier. Chris joined on guitar in 2025, completing the line-up and asserting an identity that swings between raw power and immersive atmospheres, sure to please fans of Foo Fighters, Bad Religion, Deftones and Superheaven.
On stage, the four-piece takes a direct, no-frills approach: raw energy, sharp contrasts and an immediate connection with the audience. After a string of shows in the Pyrénées-Orientales and a stop in Marseille, CRUSVDERS plays Le Nautilus in Perpignan on 16 October, Le Chicago in Toulon on the 17th and Le Brassitorium in Nice on the 18th.
