Critical Pint - Too Much Ain’t Enough (2026)
With Too Much Ain’t Enough, CRITICAL PINT push the needle exactly where they like it: to the critical point of intensity and excess. A raw, high-energy Loud Rock track fed on 70’s hard rock and stoner, carried by massive riffs and one simple urge: to build tension without ever trying to release it. Like those relationships that start out as an obvious match and end up taking over everything.
Following Redemption and What A Big Question, both released earlier this year, this third 2026 single further asserts the band’s identity and its own definition of Loud Rock: a blend of 70’s hard rock and stoner designed to reach full scale on stage. A track tuned for amps pushed into the red, available on streaming platforms.
Loud Rock outside the Groupama Stadium
This new release extends a particularly active year. On 17 June 2026, CRITICAL PINT set up their amps on the forecourt of the Groupama Stadium in Lyon, on the occasion of the LINKIN PARK concert. You might have been there! The show would not have been possible without the support of Les Abattoirs in Bourgoin-Jallieu, who have been backing the band for a year, and it capped off a packed first half of the year: studio work, videos, contacts, single releases and live shows. The project keeps gaining experience and depth: this is now a band whose plans reach well beyond the stage alone.
About the band
CRITICAL PINT is a Loud Rock band formed in Chambéry in 2017. Shaped by rock and welded together by the stage, they were brewed like a good beer: in the cellars of the independent scene. At the crossroads of 70’s hard rock and the thick textures of stoner, the band brews a massive, sincere and additive-free rock, built first and foremost for the stage. Thought fades away and impact takes over. Critical point. Instinct becomes lucid, chaos becomes language.
From the EP Just A Drop (2018) to the single Good Stuff (2020) and the album Thirst Of All (2023), the band has built a solid discography — with Welcome To Hell ranked 5th best French release at the 2019 Metal Awards. Nearly 100 shows later, including Hellfest le Off, Ours en Scène and the Voolstock Festival, CRITICAL PINT are pursuing in 2026 a new chapter marked by several single releases and an identity now gathered under a single banner: Loud Rock.
