3615 Francis - Fright Night (2026)
“Put on the mask and the knife, are you ready for the show”. The scene is set: Fright Night is an unashamed tribute to horror films, and more specifically to slashers, those masked killers who always come back, from Michael Myers to Jason Voorhees. The moon is rising, the phone is ringing, someone is knocking at the door… and the chorus, punctuated by “ho wé ho” chants made for singing along, falls like a blade. With a wink along the way: “Maybe I’m too sexy for the ladies”.
Musically, 3615 Francis deliver a mid-tempo punk-rock track spiced up with a little electro hook. The song was written at a time when the band was working on more “commercial” material: Fright Night was the most rock of them all. And to bring things full circle with horror cinema, it was mixed and mastered by American producer Beau Hill, who produced Alice Cooper’s songs for the Friday the 13th Part VI soundtrack.
Released as a single on 27 February 2026, with a video, Fright Night opens Professional Entertainers, the band’s second EP, out on 29 May 2026, alongside War, Song For You, The End Of The Race and Fuckin’ Sad. As the band puts it: “Punk-rock is freedom, and we do what we like!”
About the band
Punk-rock, metal, electro, reggae… Formed in Nice, in the south of France, in 2024, 3615 Francis refuses to be confined to a single genre. Influenced by The Offspring, Electric Callboy and Avicii, the band happily slips electro sounds, a bit of pop, a hint of zouk or a dose of metal into its punk-rock. Its vintage name harks back to the pre-internet Minitel era, yet this is a thoroughly modern band, driven above all by having fun and sharing it with the audience.
The band was founded by Michel and Stéphane, who played together for more than ten years in Mr Fist. Michel, with an instantly recognisable voice and the band’s main songwriter, has switched from guitar to bass since Hédi’s departure; Stéphane is on drums and backing vocals, and Chino, also the drummer of The Cretin Family and A.E.G., plays guitar. After a first EP, Playboys (2025), and the singles Playboy, Don’t Share Your D.N.A, Heart Has Gone and War, the band has been played on RTL2’s pop-rock feature and on punk radio shows in France, the UK, Germany and the US.
