Weend’ô - Elveniga (2026)
After the acoustic interlude of the 2024 EP Bridge of Heart, Weend’ô plug the guitars back in. Recorded in spring 2025, Elveniga draws on the energy and visual aesthetic of the great manga epics to invite listeners to leave the everyday world behind and set off into the unknown. The band promises a symphonic journey where power and sensitivity intertwine, driven by sincere and generous rock-metal energy, and presents it as a luminous, hopeful adventure for anyone who loves to escape and dream.
The album holds eight tracks over 45 minutes, with several long-form pieces: Impregnate Me, a first single of over seven minutes, Ayleen, and closer Renaescentia. It keeps what has defined the band from the start: ethereal, immersive atmospheres inherited from Pink Floyd, the raw energy and asymmetric rhythmic structures associated with Tool and, at the centre, the voice of Laetitia Chaudemanche, aka Laetitia Hayle, whose range recalls Amy Lee (Evanescence) and who moves between power and vulnerability with apparent ease. She also wrote the lyrics.
Recorded at Baboo Music and CréaSSion studios, mixed by drummer Nathanaël Buis and mastered by Thibault Chaumont at Studio Deviantlab, Elveniga will be released on 13 November 2026 on Boh Music, digitally, on CD and on vinyl. The artwork is by Laetitia Hayle, Nicolas Vigneau and Nathanaël Buis.
About the band
Formed in 2010 in south-west France, Weend’ô has developed its own language within progressive rock, backed by a loyal fan community that helped fund several productions: You Need To Know Yourself and the live Weend’ô Fairytal’acoustic Live in 2013, then Time of Awakening in 2017, the album that brought the band to the UK prog scene. In 2024, the acoustic EP Bridge of Heart revealed a more intimate and organic side of its music.
Line-up: Laetitia Hayle (vocals, keyboards), Térence N’guyen Van (guitar), Maxime Rami (bass), Nathanaël Buis (drums, samples).
