More than ten years on stage, and the wish to show the band as it really is when it plays live: that is the idea behind Alive!. Rather than reproducing its songs note for note, Tangerine Flavour set out to capture the energy, interaction and intensity of its shows, with the blend of country, rock, Americana and southern rock it has made its own since the beginning.

Electric guitars, vocal harmonies and a solid rhythm section shape a repertoire rooted in American roots rock. Recorded at Sala El Sol, one of Madrid’s historic venues, the record puts the focus on performance and on the character of each song, letting the tracks grow and breathe away from the studio. The live video for Por La Puerta de Atrás gives a good taste of it.

Released on 2 October 2026, Alive! is both a snapshot of the band today and a new way into its world: that of a group that has long championed, with a personality of its own, the sounds that shaped American rock.

About the band

Founded in Madrid in 2014 by guitarists Pablo Martín and Miguel Polonio, Tangerine Flavour released a first EP in 2017, followed by the album No Hard Feelings in 2018, produced by Alfonso Ferrer, and Space Cowboy in 2024, recorded with Paco Loco. Winner of the Pop Festimad award, the band today features Pablo A. Martín, Fernando Lima, Mike Fletcher, Alejandro Vizcaíno and Manu Pino.
