QFB - A Nosa Terra (2026)
Four years after Rexurdir (2022), QFB is back with A Nosa Terra, Galician for “our land”. The album grew out of long years on stage: the band wanted to channel all the energy of its live shows into a heavier, more organic and more mature sound. Conceived as a response to the linguistic, social and cultural urgency of the moment, it confirms the band’s long-standing choice: rap-metal sung entirely in Galician, with language and identity at its core.
The record is built around two main themes. On one side, the defence of identity and land: the title track, Somos Patrimonio and En pé call for preserving natural, linguistic and cultural heritage against oblivion. On the other, social criticism and collective anger: Indignados and Non é Non give voice to social unrest, the precarity of working people and the need to resist together.
Across nine tracks, QFB also opens the door to the Galician underground scene: XacaPandes and Álex Fente on Somos Patrimonio, XacaPandes again on En pé, Dary Feijoo on Doces Soños, plus a cover of Pedras Contra Tanques by Leilía. The album also features Ruído, for which the band made a video, and Mala Fama. Produced and mixed by QFB, who also designed the cover, it was released on 1 February 2026.
About the band
Founded in A Coruña in 1993, QFB is one of the pioneering and longest-running bands of Galician-language rap-metal. Toninho on vocals, Binny on guitar, David on bass and Zalo on drums blend the power of metal riffs with the direct, rhythmic writing of hip-hop, with their DIY spirit intact and lyrics focused on social criticism, collective memory and the defence of their land.
Among the highlights of its history, the band opened for Elastica in 1995 at the Playa Club in A Coruña. Its debut album, Rexurdir, brought it back to the venues and festivals of the underground circuit in 2022. On stage, QFB promises a show built for the moshpit, turning frustration and collective rage into a festive, combative catharsis.
