“Armageddon is an exploration of the world around us and the impacts it has on people,” says Piotr Michalik, guitarist and leader of Psychotic Outsider. The record tackles mental health, climate change, christo-fascism, social justice and mass violence. “The album charts a course through these themes, starting in a place of profound anxiety, overwhelmed by trauma, and slowly moving to a place of defiance and vengeance.”

Drawing on hardcore, metal and punk rock, the band unleashes a highly aggressive sound driven by dynamic beats, for fans of Lamb of God, Decapitated and Pantera. The nine tracks, from The End is Nigh to the title track via White Phosphorous and I Will Suffer No Masters, were recorded, mixed and mastered by Michael Richards at Trackmix Studio (Khôra, Cruachan). The single Welcome Oblivion comes with a video.

With artwork by Helena Jennings, Armageddon was released on 23 October 2026 on CD via Via Nocturna.

About the band

Formed in August 2018 in Galway, Ireland, Psychotic Outsider has released the demo Motherfucker (2019), the album Psyching Out Mentality (2020), the EP End Of The Line (2022), the single Till We Decay (2023) and the EP 6 (2024). The band has played several festivals, including Siege of Limerick, Ireland’s largest, Bloodstock Metal 2 The Masses and Templemore Metal Fest, and has shared the stage with Nocny Kochanek, Archives and Survivalist.

Psychotic Outsider are Darragh Jennings (vocals), Piotr Michalik (guitars), Wiktor Klukowski (bass) and Krystian “Kruszon” Mistarz (drums, ex-Thy Worshiper).
