After the release of their first album, Walk Like a Moonster in 2023, Beach Moonsters are releasing their successor, BLACK LAGOON NIGHT SURFIN' on February 28, 2025.

This album further establishes the Moonsters in the French and international surf/garage scene and refines their sound, somewhere at the crossroads of the universes of Dick Dale and Motörhead.

Throughout these 13 tracks, the listener encounters the killer monsters of the Black Lake, tries to catch the attention of the famous Zombierella, flies off to the dangerous Planet Z, or gets lost in the middle of the jungle to the rhythm of Boogaloo.

BLACK LAGOON NIGHT SURFIN' was recorded in August 2024 at La Trappe Studio, renowned for the quality of its vintage analog equipment. The album was mixed and mastered by Jim Diamond (White Stripes, Slift, New Bomb Turks, Johnny Mafia, etc.).

The album cover, created by Zi Infams, revisits the classic codes of Z-grade movies: sea monsters, Frankenstein's creature, without forgetting the universe of Californian surf.

About the Band

Beach Moonsters have built a solid reputation as a live band with over 130 concerts since the release of their first album, Walk Like a Moonster in 2023. The band's sound stands out from classic surf canons with a tendency to lean towards punk and rock 'n' roll, while offering a journey through exotica and even orientalist atmospheres.

Their second LP, "Black Lagoon Night Surfin'," mixed and mastered by Jim Diamond (Slift, White Stripes, New Bomb Turks, Johnny Mafia), is released in March 2025 by Les Productions de l'Impossible, Trash Wax, Strychnine, and 98 Décibels.
